Our State-of-the-art Dental Technology
Dr. Kevin Trotter utilizes some of the most advanced dental technology at Dentistry at the Heights in Brooklyn Heights, NY, in order to provide patients with the highest level of care. Advanced imaging tools allow us to identify the early signs of problems with incredible accuracy, while soft-tissue lasers and other tools help us provide precise treatments with minimal discomfort. To learn more about how you can benefit from our state-of-the-art dental technology, schedule an appointment today.
Our Advanced Imaging Systems
In order to create highly accurate treatment plans, we first perform thorough diagnoses by utilizing state-of-the-art imaging equipment. We choose to feature digital dental x-rays because they involve less radiation exposure than traditional film types and create a more precise image that can be viewed instantly. We can also combine digital x-rays with cone beam scans to create incredibly detailed 3-D images of your teeth, jaw, and oral structures.
Along with diagnostic tools, we also utilize cutting-edge technology to ensure the safety of our patients and achieve optimal outcomes during treatments.
Furthermore, we can use tiny intraoral cameras to inspect individual teeth up-close, or use our DIAGNOdent® device to detect decay at its earliest stages. If you will be undergoing an Invisalign® treatment, our iTero® scanner will help to ensure that your aligner trays have an incredibly precise and comfortable fit.

Our Treatment Technology
Along with diagnostic tools, we also utilize cutting-edge technology to ensure the safety of our patients and achieve optimal outcomes during treatments. Unlike many other practices, Dentistry at the Heights features an in-office CEREC® (chairside economical restoration of esthetic ceramics) system. This system allows us to create custom restorations in our office and provide same-day veneers and dental crowns in many cases.
If you will be undergoing a dental implants treatment, we will identify the strongest locations in your jaw and place the implants using computer-guided technology. Rather than using a scalpel to perform periodontal treatments, we instead use a soft-tissue laser. The high power of the laser can eradicate bacteria and diseased tissue to address gum disease. The tool also seals off blood vessels, which helps to minimize swelling and post-treatment discomfort. If excessive gum tissue is detracting from the appearance of your teeth, our doctors can use the soft-tissue laser to perform gum contouring and create a beautiful frame for your smile.
"Integrity, honesty, and authenticity."
Making Your Visit Comfortable and Convenient
Your lifelong dental health is our top priority at Dentistry at the Heights. However, we also work hard to make visits as easy and comfortable as possible. While you are in the dental chair, you can relax and watch Netflix or listen to Pandora® radio through noise-canceling headphones. Our administrative team also utilizes a paperless system. This method will make it easier to schedule your appointments, obtain your health records, and transfer any relevant information to specialists or your general physician.
